ISS SSTV Series 30 starting Wed 12 Nov
The ISS is celebrating 25 years of the ISS, ARISS and Scouting with a week-long set of SSTV transmissions. Decoding can be by smartphone/tablet app or computer programs such as QSSTV, MMSSTV or via Ham Radio Deluxe if you have MMSSTV installed.
You can find out when the ISS will be ‘visible’ from the UK using the Heavens Above app. NB tick the ‘Treat the ISS as a radio satellite’ box in Settings or it will only show night time passes when the ISS will be illuminated by sunlight. (Also worth noting that passes can often be heard 90 min before and after the first & last of each set.) The first passes are expected to be at 17:58, 19:33, 21:15 and 22:51 on Wed 12 Nov.
