RSGB QSL Bureau replaced by German service

The RSGB QSL bureau manager has retired and the service outsourced to the German national radio society, DARC. There is a new (UK) address to send outgoing cards to and different rules over sorting and bundling cards. There also appear to be stricter rules over types of cards that can be handled as automatic sorting will be used. Cards may be rejected if they carry commercial advertising.

There are options to send cards direct to DARC and later this year there will be a Direct QSL print service, where you set up a card design, pay DARC and then send them logfiles for QSOs you want to send cards for. Current DARC member costs start from 79 Euro for 500 cards (you don’t have to send all 500 at the same time). RSGB members will get 20% discount on the DARC rates.
