Sadly subscription rates have had to rise for 2025

We managed to hold subscription rates steady for the last four years. Unfortunately time has come for a rise. After slaving over a calculator the committee came to the conclusion that subs were not covering club running costs (hall rental, RSGB membership, insurance, hot drink & biscuit catering supplies and Zoom subscriptions). Subs also don’t fund equipment purchases. Consequently annual single memberships will now cost £25 and family membership will cost £30.

Subscriptions are due from January 1st. Members will need to fill out a fresh membership form and are asked to pay by bank transfer if possible. More details will be available closer to the date.

One thing to note is that some web browsers, including Microsoft Edge and Firefox, now let you write on regular pdf files. So you can enter your details on the membership form, save the file and email it back to our Treasurer Dave. NB Last time we checked, Chrome would let you enter information into specially created pdf forms but did not appear to let you type onto regular pdf files like our membership forms.
